About Us

David and Jeannette established Davjen Farm LLC in 1986. The original farm was located in Schodack, NY, in Southern Rensselaer County. After purchasing their current farm in Hubbardsville, NY, they sold the original farm and moved to Madison County. David is a cattle grazing enthusiast and enjoys watching cows do what God created them to do best- eat grass all day! David and Jeannette raise pastured poultry together and have mastered the art of on-farm poultry processing. They also enjoy walking Dingo, the dog, or riding Nite and Mike the Horse on the Brookfield trail system.

Our Products

Davjen Farm, LLC is a 100% grass-fed and finished beef operation. We offer a variety of individual cuts of meat through local farmers’ markets, on-farm sales, and local home delivery from our Murray Grey beef cattle herd. In addition, we have small-quantity meat bundles as well as traditional larger bulk orders of a quarter, half, or whole cow. From our Cornish cross poultry operation, we offer whole, half, and parted chickens for sale.
